Janakalyana Samitee “JKS” is registered as not for profit, voluntary development organization established in 2004 and registered in August 19 of 2004, under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. JKS had been involved into multifaceted activities for the empowerment and holistic development of the disadvantaged population of Kendrapara District. Various Social interventions including awareness on education, Sanitation, child Rights, health, women empowerment, livelihoods restoration & management, sustainable agriculture and allied activities, skill and capacity building, local area art Craft & Culture development. It’s Governing Body consisting of 7 persons who give broader guidelines and involves in major policy decisions. Based on the vision, JKS is committed to bring qualitative changes in the lives of SC/ST, minority and other weaker sections such as women, children, landless, small and marginal farmers and Persons with Disability who constitute the target group.
